That is my reasoning for not giving MC another $500.00 when another software that is available for $140.00 and will do the job very easily and offered a free trial version will get my money. The one day of instruction that I got was nothing but a one hour sales pitch before I told "Mr. What I was getting at is that I don't expect things for free, it is just that when I bought(financed) my new Haas mill with a 4th axis and my MC software, I was under the impression from MC that the $5000.00 version I was buying was everything I would need to program my machine except for having the solids option or 5th axis programming.MC was roughly 7% of the total $75,000 I financed and that is alot of money to a 27 year old husband and father to me. I wish MC out here could give simple instructions like that over the phone or even asked if I was using that order. I was trying file "get" the only way I knew. Thank you Jay that was all the simple instructions that I needed.

You'll have to upgrade or open up you JPEG in Paint, or Photo Editor and save it as a BMP. As well as solid and surface modeling experience in Solidworks and Fusion 360. Experience in Mastercam, Surfcam, Gibbscam, and Fusion 360. So iif you're trying to read in a JPEG, no dice. From macro programming to complex 3d toolpaths to Blueprints to R&D engineering and graphical illustrations. Efficiency and memory usage enhancements. Level/height assignment to vectors, 3D output. Many raster enhancement options: despeckle, brightness, contrast, prune, fill holes, negative. Loading of TIFF, JPEG and GIF raster files. Advanced vector extraction intelligence. Which WinTopo Pro features are not in the free version? Save the vectors to DXF or other vector formats. Perform raster thinning, or edge detection. What I gathered from Wintopo Freeware you get the following You eluded to not being independantly wealthy so I'm assuming you want a cheaper solution (preferably free looks like). The Mastercam Raster/Vector Converter is what your reseller asked you to consider purchasing, this does the job nicely. If you're trying to convert a JPEG file into a Mastercam readable format, you'll need something that will "Vectorize" (in laymen's terms - create lines arcs and splines from a raster image bmp. Something else I don't see mentioned here.
